1. Scope of These Booking Terms
These Parking Booking Terms apply to all parking reservations made with Alpha Park, including online bookings, telephone bookings, email bookings, and bookings made in person.
By making a booking, paying for a booking, entering the parking area, or using our parking and transfer services, the customer agrees to these Booking Terms.
These Booking Terms apply together with our general Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and any specific booking confirmation issued to the customer.
2. Booking Confirmation
A parking booking is confirmed only when Alpha Park issues a booking confirmation by email, SMS, printed receipt, or other written confirmation.
The customer must check the booking confirmation carefully and notify Alpha Park immediately if any details are incorrect.
The booking confirmation may include:
- Customer name
- Vehicle registration number
- Vehicle category
- Arrival date and time
- Return date and time
- Parking duration
- Selected services
- Total price
- Payment status
- Arrival instructions
Alpha Park is not responsible for problems caused by incorrect or incomplete details provided by the customer.
3. Customer Information
The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information when making a booking.
This includes the correct vehicle registration number, contact details, arrival time, return time, flight number where requested, and any special requirements.
If the customer provides incorrect details, Alpha Park may not be able to provide the service on time, and additional charges may apply.
4. Prices and Payment
All parking prices are shown in euros and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise.
The total booking price depends on the parking duration, vehicle category, selected extras, availability, and any active offers.
Payment may be required:
- Online at the time of booking
- On arrival
- Before vehicle collection
- As otherwise agreed with Alpha Park
Alpha Park may refuse entry, service, or vehicle release until all parking charges and additional fees have been paid.
5. Arrival Time
The customer must arrive at the booked arrival time or notify Alpha Park as soon as possible if delayed.
Alpha Park will make reasonable efforts to support flexible arrival times, but service availability may depend on traffic, airport conditions, staffing, and operational capacity.
Late arrival does not automatically extend the booking period or reduce the parking price.
6. Vehicle Drop-Off
On arrival, the customer must follow Alpha Park staff instructions.
The customer must remove all valuable items, money, documents, electronics, fragile items, personal belongings, and prohibited items from the vehicle before handover.
Alpha Park may inspect and record the vehicle’s visible condition on arrival, including photos, videos, mileage, fuel level, or written notes, for security and dispute-prevention purposes.
7. Vehicle Condition
The customer confirms that the vehicle is legally roadworthy, insured, safe to move, and free from dangerous defects.
The customer must inform Alpha Park before handover if the vehicle has:
- Existing damage
- Mechanical issues
- Battery problems
- Alarm problems
- Tyre problems
- Fuel or oil leaks
- Special starting or handling instructions
- Any safety-related issue
Alpha Park is not responsible for pre-existing damage, mechanical failure, battery failure, tyre failure, alarm faults, or issues caused by the condition of the vehicle, unless directly caused by Alpha Park’s proven negligence.
8. Keys and Vehicle Movement
If the customer leaves the vehicle keys with Alpha Park, the customer authorises Alpha Park staff to move the vehicle when reasonably necessary.
This may include moving the vehicle within the parking area, to another secure operating area, or for parking management, safety, transfer, cleaning, charging, or operational reasons.
Alpha Park will move vehicles only for legitimate business purposes and with reasonable care.
9. Parking Duration
The booking covers only the parking period stated in the booking confirmation.
If the customer returns later than the booked return time, additional parking charges may apply.
Overstay charges will be calculated according to Alpha Park’s current price list or the agreed booking rate.
10. Flight Delays and Late Return
If the customer’s flight is delayed or the customer will return later than expected, the customer must contact Alpha Park as soon as possible.
Alpha Park will make reasonable efforts to continue storing the vehicle, but extra charges may apply for the extended parking period.
Alpha Park is not responsible for airline delays, airport delays, missed flights, missed connections, or any losses caused by delays outside its control.
11. Airport Transfer Service
Where airport transfer service is included or selected, Alpha Park will make reasonable efforts to transfer the customer to and from the airport in good time.
Transfer times may be affected by traffic, weather, flight delays, road closures, airport congestion, staffing, or operational conditions.
The customer is responsible for arriving early enough before their flight. Alpha Park is not liable for missed flights, missed check-in, missed boarding, or related losses where the customer did not allow enough time or where delays were outside Alpha Park’s control.
12. Cancellations
The customer may cancel a booking by contacting Alpha Park using the contact details provided on the website or booking confirmation.
Unless stated differently during booking:
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the booked arrival time may receive a full or partial refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before arrival may be non-refundable.
- No-shows may be charged the full booking amount.
- Optional extras may be refunded only if they have not already been provided or reserved specifically for the customer.
For online or distance bookings, Greek and EU consumer rules may provide cancellation or withdrawal rights in certain cases. However, some date-specific transport, accommodation, leisure, or time-specific services may be exempt or limited. Alpha Park will apply any mandatory consumer rights required by Greek law. The general Greek consumer guidance confirms that distance-contract cancellation rights are normally 14 calendar days, subject to legal exceptions.
13. Booking Changes
The customer may request a change to the arrival date, return date, vehicle, vehicle category, or selected services.
Booking changes are subject to availability and may result in a price difference.
Alpha Park is not required to accept changes requested at short notice, but will make reasonable efforts to assist the customer where possible.
14. No-Show
If the customer does not arrive on the booked date and does not contact Alpha Park, the booking may be treated as a no-show.
No-shows may be non-refundable.
Alpha Park is not required to keep the parking space available after the booked arrival time if the customer has not contacted Alpha Park.
15. Optional Services
Optional services may include car wash, EV charging, covered parking, luggage assistance, or other additional services.
Optional services are subject to availability and may require extra payment.
If an optional service cannot be provided due to availability, weather, technical issues, power supply, or operational reasons, Alpha Park’s liability is limited to refunding the amount paid for that optional service, unless otherwise required by law.
16. EV Charging
EV charging is provided only where available and where the vehicle is compatible with the available charging equipment.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate vehicle information and any required charging instructions.
Alpha Park does not guarantee a full charge unless this has been specifically agreed in writing.
17. Covered Parking
Covered parking is available only where selected and confirmed.
If covered parking is unavailable due to operational reasons, Alpha Park may provide alternative parking and refund any separate covered-parking fee paid by the customer.
18. Personal Belongings
The customer must not leave personal belongings, valuables, money, jewellery, electronics, travel documents, business documents, or fragile items inside the vehicle.
Alpha Park is not responsible for items left inside the vehicle unless loss or damage is directly caused by Alpha Park’s proven negligence.
19. Prohibited Items
Customers must not leave illegal, dangerous, flammable, explosive, toxic, perishable, or high-value items inside the vehicle.
If Alpha Park reasonably suspects that a vehicle contains dangerous or illegal items, Alpha Park may refuse service, contact the customer, or contact the relevant authorities where necessary.
20. Security and CCTV
Alpha Park may use CCTV, access control, photos, vehicle inspection records, booking systems, payment systems, and communication records for security, service delivery, dispute prevention, and legal compliance.
Personal data must be processed lawfully, fairly, transparently, and only for necessary purposes under GDPR and Greek Law 4624/2019. Customers should read Alpha Park’s Privacy Policy for full details.
21. Damage Claims
Any claim for vehicle damage must be reported to Alpha Park before leaving the parking area, where possible.
The customer must provide reasonable evidence, including photos, booking details, and any relevant information.
Alpha Park may review vehicle condition records, CCTV where legally permitted, staff notes, and any other relevant evidence.
Alpha Park is responsible only for damage directly caused by its proven negligence, fault, or breach of legal duty.
22. Liability
Alpha Park will take reasonable care when providing parking and related services.
Alpha Park is not liable for:
- Pre-existing vehicle damage
- Mechanical failure
- Battery failure
- Tyre failure
- Alarm faults
- Items left inside the vehicle
- Missed flights
- Airline delays
- Airport delays
- Traffic delays
- Weather events
- Damage caused by third parties
- Events outside Alpha Park’s reasonable control
Nothing in these Booking Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by Greek law.
23. Force Majeure
Alpha Park is not responsible for delay, cancellation, or failure to provide services caused by events outside its reasonable control.
This includes severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, accidents, road closures, airport disruption, power failure, system failure, fire, government action, war, terrorism, civil disturbance, or public health emergencies.
24. Refusal of Service
Alpha Park may refuse service or cancel a booking if:
- The customer provides false or incomplete information
- The vehicle is unsafe or unsuitable to move
- The customer behaves abusively, dangerously, or unlawfully
- The customer refuses to pay applicable charges
- The vehicle contains prohibited or dangerous items
- Providing the service would create a safety, legal, or operational risk
25. Complaints
Customers should submit complaints as soon as possible by email or in writing.
The complaint should include the booking number, customer name, vehicle registration, date of service, description of the issue, and any supporting evidence.
Alpha Park will review the complaint and respond within a reasonable time.
26. Governing Law
These Parking Booking Terms are governed by the laws of Greece.
Any dispute will first be handled through direct communication with Alpha Park. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it may be referred to the competent courts of Greece, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
